The Order Of Secrets: Tales of the beginning

We all entered the recess room, where we were able to stay until it was time for bed. There were many things we could all do, but we were all still very uncomfortable with each other. Like many of the other kids I was only brought here days beforehand, and we still had no idea what was going on. All we knew is that they were training us for something.

"Gather round children! Mama has a tale to tell ya'll!" Mama hekaya exclaimed while waving her hand in the air frantically motioning to us to come over to her. "Come now take a seat children, so I can tell you a story of the gods, heroes, magik, and adventure, just like my mama told me, and her mama told her. This is the story of how things came to be. Pay attention, and this information might be able to save your life one day. Of course, only if you listen well." Me, and the other kids gathered around her to hear her tales, even though we were all still very cautious of each other, and of her. We all crossed our legs, and sat upon the ground, and she started to speak again. "Now children this was a very long time ago, before time, and space as we know it..."

She continued on telling us her story. She explained that existence has always been a thing, but our universe was created by energies from that existence. These energies gave our universe laws, and from these laws the deities were created. These deities were gods, and goddesses of their own certain aspects of existence, but 7 of them were seen as the most influential to the rest of the universe. These 7 deities were known as Aurora the Goddess of creation, Kane the God of destruction, Eos the God of Light, Xyla the Goddess of Darkness, Typha the Goddess of space, Terminus the God of time, and Arcanimus the deity of knowledge. These seven entities were the first in our universe, and they took special care in creating everything from the smallest atoms to the largest galaxies allowing the other gods to go out, and create as needed. Aurora went around creating new planets in solar systems with a colorful cast of gods, and goddesses, while the God of destruction, Kane destroyed those things he found unfavorable. Eos created suns to brighten up the universe, and Xyla created black holes to suck the light away. Typha created more space for Aurora to work in, and Terminus made sure that time was ticking forward, and that the destinies, and fates were aligned perfectly. Arcanimus the deity of knowledge began to write in order to record everything that was happening. The deities all had their own jobs to do, and Arcanimus never missed a single thing adding each bit of new information to the library of the Gods, which was known as the akashic records. This went on for a couple million millennias, until Aurora the Goddess of creation created the Milky Way galaxy, and the Earth.

She thought this world that she made was beautiful, and was quite different than the rest of the worlds she had made, so she spent extra time working on the Earth making it more beautiful with every passing second. She ended up creating all the plants, and animals of the Earth including humans, and the neanderthals. The neanderthals, became a nomadic people, and traveled the globe, while early humans suck together in one big tribe known as the monad. All of the humans were happy, and fulfilled with their goddess of creation watching over them, but everything changed when Kane got word of the Earth's existence.

Kane thought the Earth was very unfavorable, but he knew he would need help to take it down, so he employed the help of Xyla the Goddess of Darkness to help him bring it down. Xyla agreed and sent a horde of black winged fallen angels to terrorize the creatures of the Earth. Once the army of fallen angels arrived on Earth they had one job in which was to destroy all Aurora created life on Earth. So they first started out by corrupting some of the humans by turning them into half angels half humans, that later would be come to be known as Nephilims. The fallen angels also took it upon themselves to create all manner of weird creature upon the Earth, resulting in all manner of creatures running wild in the darkest of places. After they were done creating mischief, these winged devils started destroying all life they could get their hands on until they reached the outskirts of the human monad tribe.

The fallen angels drew their black demonic blades, and went hard on the offensive pushing the humans quickly hoping to wipe them out with ease, before they could even realize what was happening. But, the humans were ready for them, and charged upon them with bows, and spears releasing the fury of the Earth with every strike of their attacks. This battle raged for a long while, with both sides taking heavy casualties, but the humans forces began to waver giving way to broken morale, and the routing human troops. The battlefield was bloody, dead bodies layed everywhere, and the screams of the defeated rocked the earth like the largest earthquakes. The humans were outgunned, and were outnumbered. They began to retreat as fast as they could, but in that moment a man entered the battlefield with his armor made of bone, and his spear made out of solid gold. He stood there in middle of everything, all the rest of the humans had retreated, and it was just him, and the opposing side. The battlefield was silent as he stared down millions of enemies single-handedly. He stab the bottom of his spear into the ground, and called out loudly "I am a Azurath, guardian of the monad tribe, and protector of the Earth, leave now, or face retribution!" The fallen angels were not impressed, and began to begin their charge on the solo warrior. Azurath readied his spear, and took up a fighting stance. He looked closely at the sea of black angel wings flowing towards him like a tidal wave, he was going to stand his ground even though he thought he could not win. He took a deep breath, and that's when they collided.

Azurath jumped into action moving like a bolt of lightning throughout the battlefield killing fallen angels with his spear as he went. The fallen angels tried to fight back, but he was a man out for vengeance killing whatever got in his way. He was like a man that was possessed killing violently, and without prejudice. His spear was like an extension of his body, as he stabbed it in, and out of fallen angel after fallen angel from all directions, twirling it around like a madman. Sometimes even throwing it into enemies, so that he could retrieve it later after piercing them from a distance. Rolling, dodging, weaving, and blocking enemy attacks like they weren't there. He showed his prowess with every attack, and with more skill than anyone could have possibly imagined. Black feathers, and blood started to fill the battlefield as he turned more, and more of their forces into corpses. After wiping out a good portion of the fallen angel forces with nothing, but his golden spear, the fallen angels moved back to form a circle around him. There was a break in action, and everything went silent for a couple of seconds. Azurath was confused, and was wondering what was going on, but he did not lower his guard. All of a sudden a dark colored blur crashed into the ground in front of Azurath, and in that spot appeared a tan man with short black hair, goatee, and beard, wearing practically nothing besides a fancy black cloth robe bottom, and had his upper body covered in tattoos. This man looked to Azurath, and proclaimed.

"Hello, I'm Kane the God of destruction, and you're in my way." In that moment Kane flashed over to Azurath with his fists clenched ready to punch him in the face, but Azurath blocked it with little effort, and said back.

"You shouldn't underestimate me, I'm full of surprises." Azurath snapped his fingers, and fire shot out from all around him pushing kane back, and burning the fallen angels close to him killing them instantly. Kane's body flew through the air, until he recovered seconds before he hit the ground landing on his feet a couple yards away.

"What was that?" Kane ask confusedly. "No entity besides the gods have powers like that."
"That's where you're wrong, Kane. All entities have in an affinity towards such power, if they know how to unlock their gifts. This is what I would like to call magik. There are three types that I have discovered, and I will have the pleasure of using on you today. These will be known from this point forward as mancy, shamanism, and clair." Azurath retorted. "Using these Powers I will make you pay for attacking the Earth! right here, right now!" As Azurath pointed his finger towards kane, and a bolt of lightning shot out of the tip of his finger, throwing kane back into the air like a ragdoll, while also catching a couple fallen angels in the leftover lightning bolt.

"This is electromancy! Kane! This is just one of the first mancies you will face." Azurath shouted.

Kane recover it again, but when his feet hit the ground he wasted no time, and shot a beam appear destructive energy in the direction of Azurath. Azurath dodged Kane's destructive wave, but barely. By using his clairvoyance he was able to see it coming, and just managed to dodge out of the way of it. The attack managed to break off a piece of his shoulder armor as he dodged deleting it from existence. The excess of the beam that missed deleted a good portion of the trees, and fallen angels that were behind Azurath. He waved his hand over his bone armor, and the armor reconstructed itself from the remaining bone of the shoulder pad. It seemed like they were both getting serious now, and took fighting stances for the battle ahead. Then everything went quiet again, as both warriors readied themselves to dance on the battlefield. Kane summoned up energy swords that were made out of pure destruction energy. Azurath readied his golden spear, and both charged at each other. Then what followed was an intense battle of spirit, and will, where both warriors did not give an inch, and keeped up with each other movements in an epic dance of gods, and mortals.

This battle went on for what felt like Millenia. Azurath released his shamanism allowing him to transform into any form of animal that he desired. This allowed him to dodge, and fight back against kane's energy blades, that would literally delete anything that they came in contact with. Kane was powerful, but because of abilities, Azurath still had the upper hand. Azurath gave Kane everything he had. shooting him with all manner of elements, transforming into all manner of beasts, and predicting every movement he made even before he made it. This made Azurath Unstoppable eventually allowing kane to get pounded into the absolute dirt. Azurath then rose up into the air above a very hurt God of destruction, and hit him with every element at once in a move that has forever been known as the seed of Ragnarok. Smoke filled the air from this attack, but once it cleared it revealed that Kane was on his knees defeated. Azurath went for the final blow chucking his golden spear as hard as he could toward the head of kane piercing his skull, and then later the ground behind him holding up his body. Water instead of blood sprang from his fatal injury washing the blood out of the nearby area, and moving it to a ring around him with nothing but the golden spear. The God of destruction laid dead, and the remaining fallen angels retreated back to the comfort of Xyla. "That was for my people!" Azurath yelled out to the world around him. All of a sudden in that moment more blurs crashed around him. He readied his weapon thinking it was more reinforcements, but it was actually the deities Aurora, Eos, and Arcanimus. Aurora ran to Azurath, and hugged him. "Who are you guys?" Azurath said as he lowered his guard, "Are you working with this so-called God of destruction?"

"I am the god of creation, you know me as Aurora." she said as she rubbed her head against him lovingly "I'm happy that you have protected the Earth my child."

"Yeah, really good job, kid. Kane was a pain in my ass since day one, so I'm glad someone finally took him out, I just wish that could have been me." Eos elaborated as he examined Kane's body "Quite a number you did here kid to think one of our creations could actually kill us."

"Precisely why we're going to have to limit these powers." Arcanimus interjected.

"You can't take away our powers what if we have to face threats much like this, again." Azurath snapped back.

"Don't worry about that my friend I have a plan, you will be able to keep your powers, but I have something else in store for everyone else. Go now, and return to your people." Arcanimus spoke Softly.

Azurath looked into the eyes of Arcanimus, and then Azurath backed away slowly, turned around, and ran to go find the rest of his people.

"What are you going to do." Aurora questioned as soon as Azurath left.

"You'll see my friend. You will all see, eventually." Assured Arcanimus.

Arcanimus took to the skies, and began to separate the humans into three separate tribes. One he gave the affinity to control the elements of great power, which was named mancy by Azurath, and Arcanimus called this tribe the Nakamoto. He sent this tribe to the east. One he gave the affinity to connect with, and become an animal, which was named shamanism by Azurath, and Arcanimus called this tribe Aldoorn. He sent this tribe to the northwest. The last one he gave the affinity of the clear sense, which was named clair by Azurath, and Arcanimus called this tribe Jumana. He sent this tribe to the southwest. Then time passed, and all three tribes live together in semi-harmony for millenia. Tribes transformed into secret societies, and spread their control through many different countries, and nations that existed, until the 17th century. The great descendants of the original tribes, became hungry, and wanted power, and took up arms against each other in the year 1666.

The leader of the Nakamoto's name was Takamatsu Tokiyori. He was an immortal Samurai, who mastered the way of the sword, and the control of all mancies. His powers allowed him to figure out how to become the first Elemental, or person literally made of the elements. He watched over everything in the east from India to Japan to Russia. He used his powers to help make the east prosperous, and powerful in all aspects of life, and was now out for even more power. The leader of the Aldoorn's name was Venia Missirien. She was a great commander, and strategist, who knew how to watch over battlefields, and battalions, and she was also master of the shamanic practices of the past. She became the first ever beast master, or person who could turn others into animals. She taught her people how to use sigils, which were magikal symbols that could release certain types of magik depending upon their design. Her secret society stretch from Turkey all the way to Britain. She gave hope to the people, and was always known as pure, no matter how many governments she appeared in. The leader of the Jumana's name was Ayokunumi Odimayo. He was a warrior touched by God, who was so skilled that he had never been injured, and he was also the first master of all types of clairs, so much so that he became the first muter, or a warrior who can mess with other people's senses. He was the person in his society to find the nesaja crystals, which were powerful crystals that had different magikal effects depending upon their color. The land of his people stretch from the Mediterranean to South Africa. He protected his people from all threats, and would do anything to see them happy, even if that means killing all who opposed him.

They met at the tri-corners of all their lands with big armies ready to march upon each other, but there in the middle stood Elder Azurath, who called out "Brothers, and sisters what are you doing here! Why have you chosen to raise your arms up against each other! Can you not see, this will not end well." The society leaders as possessed by their hunger, and power did not listen, and charge starting a war that would last 100 years, and because of this Elder Azurath was never heard from again. The sons, and daughters of the three societies eventually ended the war, but they all took heavy casualties, and decided to disband their societies scattering their members like dust across the world.

Later three friends by the names of Mason Collins, Takamatsu Jiro, and Auu Touma created the order of Secrets. The order of Secrets was an organization that specialized in finding people that's magiks have been unlocked, while keeping the order in the world, and keeping control of all Supernatural things.

"And that children is the story of how things came to be." Mama Hekaya, said wrapping up her story, while being pleased with herself.

Some kid shouted something out about, if she had a different story, and her only reply for that was. "I could tell them the story of those two wolves; Vertia & Messiah, but that's probably not appropriate for children, but this story did have blood in it..." She whispered under her breath, before I interrupted her by raising my hand. "What's the matter child." she spoke.

"That can't be how it happened? magik is not real." I said confusedly.

She looked at me, and then she began to shift into a raven, and flew off. "I guess you'll have to see, if magik is real for yourself." said a voice echoing into the distance.

Blackwood

There I was on the ground... The cold, and lifeless dirt beneath me... For I knew I was one of the only survivors of this failed assault, but still I carried on. I had enough strength to push myself to my knees. I knew it would be hard to continue this perilous journey. From there I looked around, and surveyed the land, but for what I found, I could not believe my eyes. The town was struck silent. A layer of dark black sooty smoke hovered finely over the ground, as all I could make out was ravaged corpses of people I once knew lining the streets like leaves on a fall day. The sky was stained black with smoke that was rising off of the decimated buildings. Not even a single peep of sunlight could be seen for miles. I was confused... I didn't understand how this could happen... It was supposed to be just another basic mission... But hundreds maybe even thousands of Acolytes showed up just to die... I tried not to think about how many people died, but instead think about where my path would lead me next. I pushed myself to try to get back on my feet, but I just could not. The burden was too much, and I fell back to my knees.

From there I looked up again to see a dark shadowy blur crash into the ground like a meteorite. Dust, and debris filled the air, but quickly cleared as I saw a man with black wings standing where the blur had landed. He was slender, and tall with flawless silky dark black hair that reach down his body. He was wearing some sort of dark robe that was dirty, ripped, and torn. He looked up with his dark ruby like eyes, and smiled. Then he told me with a grin on his face.

“It looks like you have finally ran out of luck.”

I moved my gaze down to look at the ground, and then looked back up at him again, and did not say a word. This man did not look familiar to me I could only speculate who he was. He walked closer, and spoke again.

“You really have had a nice run haven't you. It is too bad that it has to end here.”

He raised his hand to the sky. All of a sudden a bright light flashed in his hand as there appeared a pitch black demonic looking blade. My thoughts were racing as He got even closer.

“I can't die to day,” I thought to myself. “The order still needs me to continue fighting.”

He put his sword above me, and yelled. “It is time now!”

I sighed, and said under my breath. “I can’t let it end here.”

He swung his blade down, and at the last possible moment I moved out of the way of his blade. He missed... While most of me. He gave me a very deep cut over my right eye. Blood flew everywhere, and the pain was like nothing I've ever felt before. It was like every part of my body was screaming as a burning sensation travel through my veins torching everything that got in its way.

"I'm not going to die. I'm not going to give up," I thought loudly.

I was bleeding from the eye, and had no more energy to fight back. The man with black wings was hovering over me. He began to speak aloud.

“I've been hunting you for a long time Eve, and now that I had time to think about it. I think killing you would make things around here boring. I would not want that, so I’m giving you some more time to live. Others will not be as kind!”

He paused, waited for a few seconds, and said.

"But here's the catch. I'm going to erase your memory, and you will not remember any of the things that happened. You will have to recall all of your training that you have been through to get to this moment.”

Before I could even voice my opinion the man with black wings kneeled down, and put his hand upon my head. I was absolutely powerless to stop him. A bright blinding light flashed in my eyes. Then He stood up and told me.

"If you want your memories back you better come find me, and by the way my name is Ambriel.”

With that Ambriel flew off into the burning black sky as I passed out into darkness.

When I finally came to a couple hours later I was face down in the dirt again. As I got up to a seated position I tried to recall anything, I could.

“Ambriel?” I said quietly to myself. All I could remember was a bright flash of light, and Ambriel's back as he flew away after he said.

"If you want your memories back you better come find me."

“How was it possible for him to take my memories,” I thought confusedly.

I could still feel his ice cold touch of his hand on my face. I was able to sit up, but there was still so much pain in my body. It seems whatever happened before Ambriel wipe my memory left me in quite a state of disarray. My right eye was covered in dry blood, and I could not see out of it. I looked down at my body through my white sleek hair to see that I was wearing silver plate armor much like knights used to wear in the old days. I could not recall why I was wearing such a thing, and I was starting to think I would need to find someone to help me. I looked around with my one good eye, and I noticed that I was in some sort of park. That's when I first noticed all the destruction. The buildings in ruins, the blackened sky, and the human bodies strewn everywhere.

I wanted to scream, but did not have the muscle strength too. Instead I tried working through the pain to get to my feet. I stood up, well barely, and limped all the way over to a fountain that was in middle of the park. I looked into the water of the fountain, and saw my own reflection. I could see my celeste blue eye looking back at me in the water, it staring into each part of my soul. I took a deep breath, and turned around then sat on the side of the fountain. I sat there for a while thinking about what to do next while examining what looked like this downtown area. I could see that most bodies were wearing gold colored armor. I saw guns, swords, and other weapons scattered everywhere. So I wondered how these people died, and why were they fighting if at all. I was sitting there for a while pondering the world that I have found myself in. Out of nowhere my ears were struck by the sound of footsteps. I quickly turn my head to see the source of the footsteps. I saw three guys entered the park simultaneously through the North gate. One was dressed in full plate armor made of bones from various animal, and humans, and the other two were wearing golden robes with their hoods up just like the dead bodies on the ground.

On closer examination I noticed they were also covered in blood from head to toe. Were they the ones who killed all these people... Was I going to die like all the rest of them... I quickly pulled myself together, and ducked behind the fountain. This was not good I needed to move, or the people coming were going to see me. Pushing myself again to get the strength to move. I was pushing myself so hard that I did not even notice my hand starting to glow. Suddenly My body started feeling better, and my strength started to return to me.

“Why do I suddenly feel better,” I whispered to myself.

It did not matter, I needed to move. I watched them carefully as they all started kneeling down so they could look through the bodies. I was wondering if I could sneak out of there unnoticed, but as that thought passed through my mind the guy in the bone plate armor stood up, and said.

“Law! Order! Do you sense that.”

"Shit!" I thought to myself. "It's only a matter of time before they find me."

I started off in a dead sprint for the south exit of the park. The guys proceeded to follow me by jumping over the fountain in perfect unison. I ran across a street that was right outside the park with those guys still hot on my trail.

Once across the street I ran into one of the many abandoned buildings to try and lose them. The building smelled like burning wood, and had a think layer of smoke, but I quickly found the back exit so it did not matter for long. I kicked in the door, and ran out into what looked like a courtyard that was surrounded on all sides by buildings. The courtyard was freezing cold. I noticed there was a person dressed in a long black dark robe with their hood up was sitting in the middle of the courtyard meditating. I could hear him saying something quietly to them self it sounded like.

“Barafu… Barafu… Barafu...”

I started taking a few steps back, but then the guy in the bone plate armor grab my shoulder. He started to speak in a deep voice.

“Don't worry Eve, I got this one. Law, and Order keep her safe while I handle this.”

He walked up to the guy in the black robe, and there was silence.

“My name is Samarium, and who do I have the pleasure of fighting today,” The black robed person hissed as he stood up.

“My name is Aiden, and I'm sorry, I have to add your bones to my collection,” The bone plated man retorted.

Aiden then took off into a blur. I never seen anyone in my life move that quickly, it was inhuman. Aiden reappeared behind Samarium with a bone sword.

“A bone sword how did he get that!” I remember thinking to myself.

That's when I noticed that a piece of his bone armor was missing. Aiden swung his blade hitting Samarium in the rib cage. I surely thought it was over, but Aiden's bone sword broke into a million pieces.

“Is that all you got,” Samarium Mocked.

Suddenly without warning black ice shards popped out of the ground underneath Aiden’s feet. Aiden jumped back quickly to the middle of the courtyard.

“You're good,” Aiden proclaimed. “This should be fun.”

Aiden took a strong fighting stance. Samarium threw his robes to the ground to show what looked like black ice plate armor. Things went quiet again as both warriors ready their first attacks. Aiden move first again running forward while sticking his hand out toward the broken bone sword. Samarium jumped into the air and started raining down black ice shards. Through a series of flips in maneuvers Aiden managed to dodge all the incoming shards and reach his broken bone sword. Aiden waved his hand over the blade fixing it right before my eyes just before Samarium landed back on the ground facing the wrong way.

Samarium turned around slowly then paused for a moment. He looked to Aiden then stomped once hard on the ground. Everybody waited patiently to see what would happen, and that's when 3 black ice golems popped out of the ground. They began to rush Aiden at a great speed, but Aiden stood his ground. When the first one arrived he swung his blade clean through that ice golem with little effort. The other two golems ran side by side toward Aiden. This set him up perfectly. He threw his blade into the air, and ran at them. Right before he was in range, bone daggers landed in both his hands, and he through the daggers through the golems chest killing them instantly by shattering their bodies.

All that was left was Samarium. Aiden was still running at full speed as he snapped his fingers loudly. This seemed to create a bone spear that shot out of the ground spearing Samarium through the chest. Samarium's flew through the air from all the extra momentum, and hit the ground with a thud. This was the most horrible thing I've ever seen. His black ice broke like a toothpick, and his blood sprayed so far it landed on the wall of the courtyard. Aiden walked up to the body of Samarium. Things grew quiet again as Aiden cast his hand over Samarium's body. In that moment everyone of his bones ripped out of his flesh, and joined with Aiden's plate armor. Aiden started walking back towards me, and claimed under his breath.

“and that is how you do it.”

Aiden snapped his fingers again making all the bones he used in that fight to come back to his armor. Aiden walked up to me.

“It's good to see you again Eve,” he said to me.

“Why are you calling me Eve?” I replied. "Who is Eve?"

“What do you mean? Your name is Eve... How could you forget what your name is?” Aiden asked.

“I don’t know! I think it has something to do with some guy I met who had black wings, and that's name was Ambriel.” I answered.

"Black wings!" Aiden exclaimed. "That sounds a lot like a fallen angel!"

Aiden turned to Law, and Order. “Law! Order! Go meet up with Saphira’s company at the rendezvous point. While I'll tell Eve what's going on here.”

Like that Law, and Order disappeared like a puff of smoke. Aiden turned back to me, and started explaining everything he knew. He started off by telling me that my name was Eve, and that he, and I were commanders for a secret society known as The Order Of The Secrets. Aiden explained that The Order was trying to keep the world safe from dark magical users, monsters, and aliens.

He also explain to me that mostly all the people in the order have their own magick. The magick he used was called bonemancy, it allowed him to control bones, and to change bone’s shape into whatever he wanted.

At that moment I asked. “Does that mean I have a magical power?”

He responded. “Of course! You have the magick called Lightmancy it is a very rare type of Mancy. I almost forgot to mention there are three types of magick, Mancy that allows you to control things, Shamanism that gives you a deep connection to whatever you're the shaman of, and Clair that allows you to sense things around you.”

Aiden also told me this was the town of Blackwood, which was a town that was reported a couple days prior to have a strong magical presents, and The Order was called to check the location. We sent in some of the company called Nightfire. Their last transmission told us that they needed immediate Evac, and that this has become an A Class operation. So Aiden's company Backbreaker, our friend Saphira’s company Dragon's Blood, and my company heaven's wrath all landed on the three corners of blackwood to find the source of the high magickal power We were sent into find out the source of the magical power, but so far we had been met with heavy resistance. Sightings of The Orders most wanted had been seen in Blackwood, and Heaven's wrath company was completely destroyed upon the first assault, and never made it to the rendezvous point. The Order had surrounded the entire town of Blackwood to keep in all of the fighting, and to keep the public from knowing what's going on. Besides from most wanted there was also a Werewolf pack to the north of the town in the woods that call themselves Spirit Stalkers, and there also a Vampire clan called Immortal Raiders that we do not know a lot about.

"So you should probably keep your head down. By the way in case you forgot it's the year 2015.” Aiden explained.

As Aiden started telling me more about this world I just woke up in. I started feeling like some of my memories were coming back. Suddenly 3 dark shadow figures showed up on one of the buildings overlooking the courtyard. Aiden looked up at them and said to me.

“We got to go!” Aiden and I ran for the door of the abandoned building we came through to get to the courtyard. The burning wood smell was still permeating the abandoned building.

Aiden yelled. “We have to leave this building right now!”

We both burst through the front door as quickly as we burst through the back door. We made it to the street when the abandoned building exploded into a hellish firestorm. Aiden told me to follow him to Saphira’s company at the rendezvous point, and that we would have to move quickly.

After running for what felt like an hour Aiden, and I finally reached our destination. The rendezvous spot was a good sized camp of tents with a 8 foot wooden wall as the perimeter. Aiden stopped, and turned to me.

“When we go into camp, and we meet a woman named Saphira, let me do all the talking.” Aiden remarked.

“Who is Saphira,” I questioned.

“Well… She’s kind of your girlfriend.” Aiden replied as he started turning back around to walk onwards.

"Girlfriend!" I said puzzled.

“Saphira is going to be pretty pissed off that you lost your memories, and got that nasty ass cut over your eye,” Aiden exchanged. "She will probably think it's all my fault."

Aiden, and I reached the gate of the camp, and a thundering voice came out of nowhere.

“Password!” The Voice demanded.

Aiden began to speak. “Just open up it's me Aiden!”

"I need the password!" The Voice demanded again.

"Clairs are the worst, shamans are the best, Mancers are the ones who put holes in your chest."  Aiden muttered embarrassingly.

"Why is the password that?" I asked.

"I swear Saphira set up that password. Trust me. The clairs love that password," Aiden replied.

There was silence then the huge wooden door creaked open. Aiden turned his head back to look at me and said.

“Remember to let me do the talking.”

Bright light overtook him as I was thrusted into a new world. Tents as far as the eye could see with people moving in and out of them like ants in an ant farm. Aiden, and I started walking toward the center of the camp. Pushing our way through the people littering the streets. We soon found ourselves in a large courtyard with a tent in the middle, but this tent seemed far different from the other ones. Two large stone dragons looked like they were guarding the tent with their tails by being wrapped around the tent.

“Aiden!” I cried. “Is this where Saphira is staying.”

Aiden shushed me, and began walking forward until he stood in middle of the two stone dragons. The Dragons began to move and got closer to Aiden. As my heart began to race I noticed that the dragons were trying to get his scent. Once they finished with him they looked at me.

Aiden declared aloud “Saphira! You don't need to check out your own friends. We're coming in now!”

The dragons went back into their original positions. I took a deep breath, and started following Aiden into the tent. There was smoke everywhere like as if someone used a thousand smoke machines in the tent. What I could see through the smoke was a red velvet carpet stretched all the way to the back of the room, where there was a big red bean bag chair, another two dragon statues, and two big fire cauldron lighting up smoke. Aiden told me to stop moving, and that he would call me when he needed me. At that moment I noticed there was a blood red haired woman sitting in the bean bag chair with her head down. She was wearing dark green hide that looked like it came from a dragon, and she had shoulder size dragon skull as shoulder plates. Aiden started walking down the large red carpet towards the woman. All I could do was watch him walk to her slowly step after step. Aiden stopped 10 feet in front of her.

“Is that Eve,” The woman said silently. “I've been searching for her since we landed in Blackwood, and I couldn't finder.”

“Yes... Eve is back... I found her while I was out on patrol,” Aiden answered.

Like a flash the woman was gone it took me a few seconds to notice that she was already embracing me in a warm hug. Tears came streaming down her face.

”I thought I lost you,” she cried.

“Saphira we need to talk somebody... wiped Eve's memories... and I think it may have been a fallen angel.” Aiden said hesitantly.

In another flash Saphira was gone but this time she was replaced by half dragon hybrid with her tail around Aiden's neck.

“What!” Saphira screamed looking at Aiden for answers while strangling him.

“What are you?” I shrieked cowering in fear of what I just witnessed.

“Look you're scaring her,” Aiden joked sarcastically.

“Shut up you!” Saphira shouted as she shoved him to the ground with her tail. Saphira changed back to her normal form, and began walking towards me slowly. “I'm sorry Eve! Let me explain,” Saphira apologized.

“If Aiden has clued you in on anything he should have probably told you about the three types of magicks. I am a shaman... a dragon shaman. Not only do I have a strong connection with Dragons but I can also change into a dragon, and summon dragons out of thin air. I didn't know you lost your memories, and I'm sorry for scaring you.”Saphira explained.

“Please! She is never sorry Eve, you better get used to being scared.”Aiden interjected jokingly.

Saphira turn to Aiden who was still on the ground, and hissed.

“Shut up!”

With almost her entire head in dragon form. Saphira transformed back to normal, and faced me.

"So Eve what did the fallen angel look like that took your memories, and is he the one that gave you the scar over your eye," Saphira questioned.

"He had black long hair, big black wings, and he said his name was Ambriel. As for the scar I can't remember how I got it," I answered.

"Ambriel! Shit! He is one of the fallen angel that hunt down bounties on mortals. I would not be surprised if he was watching us right now. We have to get done with our mission, and leave this place. Let's find the source of this powerful magick, and get out of here." She explained.

"Easier said than done!" Aiden said from the ground.

All of a sudden Law, and Order came in the tent, their hood still covering their faces.

“Aiden! We found him!” They reported in unison.

Aiden blurred over to Law, and Order “Take me to him!” he commanded.

Law and Order touched hands, and they were gone.

“Shit! We have to go after them,” Saphira exclaimed.

"Why?" I asked her.

“Aiden found Damian again!” Saphira yelled back to me. "Get on my back we need to find them now!”

I got on her back as she transformed into a beautiful red scarlet dragon, and ripped through the ceiling of her tent. She must had a wingspan of 32 feet in her full dragon form. I had a feeling everyone in camp could see her.

“Are you alright you're not too freaked out,” said a voice in my head.

“What?” I replied back.

The Voice started talking again. “It’s me Saphira! I'm talking to you telepathically. I'll do this whenever I am in dragon form. Now hold on tight!”

With that both of her wings flap down wards, and huge gust of wind blew us in to the air. We started flying south to find Law, Order, and Aiden before they could find Damian. Saphira, and I flew over the town at a high speed, and All the buildings went past us so fast I could barely make them out. Saphira's body casted a shadow over each part of land that we came too. I thought to myself about what Damian would have done to piss off Aiden so much to make him want to seek him out. I got weird Goose Bumps just thinking about it, but then Saphira asked with telepathy.

"Are you okay."

"What do you mean." I said back.

"We will soon be going into a Battle. Where Bloodshed, and death are the only thing on people's minds. You can't even defend yourself from these enemies without knowing how to use your power. So I need you to stay close by me so I can defend you," Saphira reasoned.

"I'll stay close to you, I promise," I assured her.

"Thank you." she replied back. “oh, and keep your eyes open for Aiden. We need to find him before he...”

Saphira stop talking as she began to hover in middle of the air.

“What is the matter,” I asked.

“I think I found him,”she said back.

I tried to lean to the right to get a better view of whatever Saphira was seeing. I looked ahead in the distance to see Law, Order, and Aiden charging 4 enemies.

''Law, Order, and Aiden can handle themselves in that fight. We need to keep a lookout for Damian, and make sure Aiden, and them don't meet up with him. It also seems like these guys were looking for something here. There's a lot of digging equipment around. So maybe we should check that out." Saphira explained.

The second the 4 enemies, and Law, Order, and Aiden clashed there was chaos. Aiden made long sharp rib bones push out of the ground at his opponents, but to no prevail. It seemed that these guys were also mancers, and threw back fire balls, and stones, but Aiden was ready. He morphed his shoulder plates into 2 swords, and through one to Law, and the other to Order. Law, and Order started jumping rib bone to rib bone attacking the enemies from a bunch of different angles. The enemies blocked with stone walls they could shoot from the ground blocking incoming sword strikes from all over. Throwing back fire balls when it was appropriate. Trying to outmaneuver Law, Order, and Aiden, but eventually blood begin to fly. As a couple of their swords strikes hit their mark, and drew blood into the air. Both sides were giving all they could, but Aiden side gave more. One of the pyromancer's got cut very deeply. So Aiden took this opportunity, and shot a chunk of the pyromancer's arm bone out of his body like a bullet hitting one of the terramancers in the head, popping it like a balloon filled with confetti. While skull shards flew everywhere Aiden morphed one shard of skull into a bone dagger which he threw at the pyromance hitting him in the heart. The last two tried to fight back but nothing would stop Aiden, from getting what he wanted. Saphira landed, and transformed back into a normal form, but what came next I was never prepared to see.

Dust littered the air giving us very little visibility, but we could still hear the screams, and the howls of the of the 4 enemy mancers dying. Suddenly one of the enemy mancers ran out of the Dust, and began to grovel at my feet. He began to cry out.

"Help me! please! I don't want to...

At that moment a bone sword flew out of the dust, and hit him in back of the head killing him instantly. We started walking past him through a forest of rib bones trees... We soon saw a silhouette in the brown dust. The silhouette had its arms stretched out, and it was holding a person by its neck.

“Where is Damien!” The silhouette asked angrily. The person could not answer before the silhouette grip crushed his neck like a grape. Blood flew from the dust splattering itself upon my face. I cried out.

 “Aiden stop this!”

Saphira took out her wings, and blew a powerful gust of air to blow away the dust.

Once the dust cleared we saw Aiden, Law, and Order all covered in fresh blood. They were staring at a spiky brown haired man with a black short sleeve hoodie, tribal tattoos on both arms, and ripped jeans.

”Damian,” Saphira said softly.

We were just close enough that we could hear Damian speak.

“I see you're still dragging around those two deadbeats,” Damian joked. "Poor Aiden why won't you let go of the past."

Aiden did not respond.

“All this wonderful bloodshed, and you aren't even going to say anything,” Damian mocked .

“Law! order!” Aiden shouted. “Unrobe!”

Law ,and Order threw off their robes, and I was astounded to see that Law, and Order were skeletons with weird symbols carved into them. Aiden began to talk again.

“These are the bones of my brothers that you killed, and now they will kill you!”

Law'skeleton, and Order's skeleton transformed into bone swords but these swords were different. They had a very bright aura of light around them. Aiden took both swords in his hands, and a single tear came down his face as he charged to fight Damien head on.

Aiden was coming up fast on Damian with both swords out to a side, but halfway to Damian Aiden brought together the swords, and then something happened, I never expected. Aiden teleported right behind Damian. Aiden had the upper hand. Damian was still turning around to see what was happening, and Aiden swung his swords. This probably would have worked on any other opponent, but not Damian. When the blades hit him in the back they cut into his flesh, but were blocked by Damian's blood.

"WHAT!" I proclaimed. "How did he manage to block that."

"Well you see he is a bloodmancer, and one of their abilities allows them to harden their blood as sharp, and hard as steel," Saphira answered.

Damian shot blood needles out of the two cut marks on his back. Most of these blood needles lodged themselves in a Aiden's armor as he jump back. Aiden touched the swords together again. This time teleporting himself in front of Damian. Aiden swung his blades up hitting Damian, and throwing him in the air. Aiden jumped after him, and readied himself for another attack, but Damian recovered in the air creating two big long blood streams out of the wounds on his back that looked like spider legs. Damien thrusted the bloodstreams growing out of his back straight down at Aiden, but again he tap the swords together teleporting  him above Damian. Aiden then proceeded to kick Damien square in the face. Hitting him with such strength that he crashed into the ground making dust, and debris fly everywhere. Aiden landed back to earth to admire what he did.

"I've been waiting a long time for this. You're going to pay with your life for what you did back then. This is the day I will get vengeance for my family, and for my brothers." Aiden monologued as the dust, and debris cleared.

I got another glimpse of Damian who was now quite beaten, and bloodied, but still calm and collected.

"Aiden... Aiden... Aiden... is that all you really have. All this time, and you can't learn some new tricks. Oh, and look you messed up my hoodie," Damien complained. "I'll guess I'll have to teach you another lesson!"

In that moment blood overtook his entire body, and Damian was transformed into a crimson fiend that was completely made of crystallized blood that shine like diamonds in the sun light. He was ready to go on the offensive. He already had his fist elbow deep in Aiden's gut blowing away his bone armor completely, and pushing him back 30 feet. He tumbled against the ground like a rag doll. Aiden landed on his back bloody, and beaten.

"All that!" I thought. "From one punch!"

I could see Damien charging for Aiden. Aiden started to control the bones of his armor that was now scattered all over the battlefield, and threw them at Damien as hard as he could. The bones broke off chunks of blood, but it did not slow him down. Damien made it to Aiden, and then proceeded to put one foot on Aiden's chest crushing his rib cage. I heard Aiden scream out in pain. The sound scared me for I thought he was the strongest warrior up till now.

"Poor... Poor... Aiden," Damien mocked again. "It seems you're going to be joining your brothers shortly. So feel free to say hi for me."

Aiden's swords were still in his hands he tried to tap them together, but once he lifted both hands off the ground Damien shot two blood needles out of his hand hitting Aiden in the center of his palms nailing him to the ground. Damian was looking down at Aiden, but then without warning Saphira in full dragon form had her mouth around Damien. Saphira bit down hard, and threw him across the valley.

I ran over to Aiden, and kneeled down to him. Saphira transformed back, and turned around to face Aiden.

"Are you okay," Saphira, and I said worriedly.

"Yeah never better," Aiden answered sarcastically.

"If he is joking like that then he is definitely fine," Saphira pointed out. "I'll try to deal with this. Eve stay with Aiden."

"No! This is not your fight Saphira. This is my kill," Aiden impeded.

"Right now you're still nailed to the ground, and out of energy. I guess that makes this my fight." Saphira spoke back.

"Just try not to get killed before I get back into the fight," Aiden pleaded.

"Will do," Saphira assured.

Damien got up again after being smashed in the ground, and started walking towards us.

"Well if it isn't Saphira, and Eve. Is this the Academy reunion? Not only have I ran into you three, and those two dead brothers of your friend over there this week, but I also ran into those one guys from Nightfire company. It's almost like fate is bringing us all back together, but enough about me... Die!" Damien reasoned.

Then he came up to us so quickly that he kicked Saphira without her being able to block it. She flew through the air like a rocket, and I wasn't too sure where she landed. Now it was just me, and Damian. He Towered over me like a giant, and then began to speak.

"Eve... Why aren't you fighting me," Damien pleaded. "You're one of the strongest acolytes of The Order... oh well, prepare for a punch in the face. "

I was so frightened... I was still sitting on the ground helpless... and Aiden was incapacitated... Saphira would not be able to get here in time... He whined up, and he swung...

Freedom

I was slowly drifting on the cool waves of an endless ocean, sitting cross-legged directly upon the water. The glowing blue water was being illuminated by the glow of the full moon hovering in the sky above me. It seemed to be closer than usual. It's raised seam to engulf the entire landscape in wonderful white fluorescent light. The sound of the calming breeze gently blowing against the water is the only thing you could hear. I could feel the splashing of the frigid water against my legs stunning with each touch. This place also had a weird aroma that smell like lavender on a spring day. but even with all of this it was calm. I put my hands on my knees, closed my eyes, and bowed my head.

“I am safe here,” I thought to myself. “But it doesn't matter because eventually I will have to go back.”As that thought crossed my mind, I felt the presence of two entities.

“Here you are again trying to escape,” Said a Deep dark voice from behind me. “I know you are a coward, but to turn your back on the forest even for a second is inexcusable.”

“Oh leave him alone Tryn,” proclaimed another voice from behind me. “Hunter feel free to come back to the forest whenever you feel ready.”

“Or you can just stay here and sulk for the rest of your life,”Tryn remarked.

I opened up my eyes, and looked behind me to see two wolves. One that was darker than night with dark red soulless eyes, and the other one was as pure as snow with eyes as blue as the ocean.

“What are you staring at,” The black one said with the voice of Tryn as he let out a little growl.

“What did I say Tryn?” The White Wolf snapped.

“Don't tell me what to do Kiera! Just get back to the forest!” Yelled Tryn growling again but this time at Kiera.

But in that exact moment something changed. They both looked to me, and spoke simultaneously.

“It's time to go back to the forest."

With that a very bright light opened up in the center of this place. The bright light grew larger with every second that passed. I shielded my eyes for fear I would go blind. I did not want to go back but it seemed I had no choice now.

Silence...

I took a deep breath in and out. I opened my eyes to see I was once again in the one place I did not want to be.

Tryn called to me. “Welcome back to the forest.”

Fresh green grass waved in the wind and the smell of cedar fill the air. It would be very easy to think of this places as calming if I did not know the truth behind it. I looked up, and had a good view of the bright sun from the grass clearing I was sitting in. As I stood up and started walking my crude dark brown robe got stuck to the tree stump I was resting upon, with feelings of frustration. I unhooked it from the tree stump. I continue to walk forward to the outer edge of the forest clearing. My bare feet felt the heat of the Sun coming off of the grass with every step. I want to stay in this clearing, but I knew Tryn, and Kiera would never allow it. I stopped at the very edge before a large plot of trees. My heart began to race like it always did, and I began to remember the other times I did this.  Before I could overthink what I was doing I bolted off into the forest running past trees, and rocks, jumping over obstacles, and sensing the area around me.

I was like a machine. Like I've done this a hundred times before. Eventually I came to a river. I stopped and waited I felt like something was up. I looked around nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but I still cannot shake the feeling I was missing something. The river that day was pretty calm. Its surface glistened in the sunlight like some sort of reflective mirror. I walked up closer to the river to look upon it. It was probably the beauty of this place that made me not hate it, as much as I do. Inspecting the river more closely probably saved my life because in that moment in the water I saw the reflection of what was known as a wendigo lurking in the trees above me. I wanted him to think he still had the element of surprise. So I leaned down, and looked like I was about to take a drink. As I went in for the drink I heard him land on the ground. Little did he know I picked up a rock instead of going for water. When I could feel his breath on my back I stood up, and went to bash his skull in with the rock, but he caught my hand.

I was standing there in a power struggle with a wendigo, but I could not be scared. I must be strong if I lose hope I would have surely died.

“Damn Wendigo! Trying to sneak up on me. You should've just made it easy, and let me kill you with this rock,” I screamed.

Silence followed… Like I was actually expecting an answer from a wendigo. They do not care about talking. They only cared about the hunt. I grew tired of the game the wendigo, and I were play. I unleashed my strength I held Within myself. I screamed menacingly. Surprising the wendigo forcing him to jump back to gauge the situation. I began to tremble as the power was coming over me. My eyes begin to glow as bright as the moon on the darkest of nights. My hands, and feet turned into a claw like versions of themselves. This would be fine but my power comes with a price, I become uncontrollably bloodthirsty when I awaken it inside myself. I could feel the desire for blood coming over me. It getting harder to tolerate every second that went on. I rushed straight for the wendigo. He didn't have time to react. I sank my claws deep into his jugular, and ripped out his throat covering my body in a fountain of blood which ran all the way down to my toes. The wendigo's lifeless corpse fell to the ground, and I fell to my knees trying to regain control. I could hear Kiera speak in one of my ears.

"You can fight it. You can regain control."

Focusing on her voice gave me the strength I needed to re-lock away the power within myself. I could feel my claws turning back into my hands, and feet. I began to stand up slowly. I was a little dizzy, but I was fine.  I wiped the blood from my face, and then I looked back to the wendigo corpse, and his throat which was still in my hand.

I was covered in blood. It sank into my robes and my long brown hair. I had to wash it off, or it would attract more unwanted attention. So I took off my robes, and put them by a tree that was overlooking the river. I tiptoed into the middle of the cold river, and knelt down, and Splashed my face with water. Soon after I sat cross-legged in the water, and closed my eyes. I had no idea how long I had been in this Forest. I remembered I used to have a life outside of this place, but one day, thanks to my powers my parents thought it would be better if they left me in the woods. They left me to die alone like some sort of monster, but I did the one thing nobody was expecting. I survived! But I knew I could not leave this place for fear I would surely die. All of the sudden I heard a twig snap. I quickly open my eyes, and stood up from the water looking in the direction of the sound. To my surprise I saw another's eyes looking back at me. It was a beautiful redheaded girl with brown eyes peeking out from behind a tree, like I didn't see her. The second our eyes met I felt strange, it was like our souls were meeting. This is the first time I had seen another human for a long time. I was very unsure what to feel.

I disconnected my eye connection as fast as I could. I thought clearly this was one of the forest tricks. I began to run back to the clearing for I thought I was not ready to handle such an encounter. I left in such a hurry that I forgot to grab my robe. Running through the woods at lightning speed like I normally do passing trees and rocks, felt all of a sudden differently. I made it to the clearing where I had my stump. I stop to catch my breath. As I finally caught it I turned around again to see the same eye staring back at me from behind a different tree at the edge of the clearing. I saw her and she saw me.Then I used my flash pulse technique. I was still trying to perfected it before all this. A technique where I could moved almost at the speed of sound. I used it to get to a tree behind her. Flash pulse put a terrible strain on my body but it was worth it now I have the upper hand. I could see her looking around for where I went to and that's when I got closer to confront her.

"Why are you spying on me. You do know it's dangerous out here don't you," I exclaimed.

"Holy! How did you get here? How did you get behind me?"she asked.

"Shut up! I'm asking the questions around here. why are you spying on me," I said angrily. "okay! okay! I was wondering around the forest when I heard something. So I came to check it out. Then I saw you taking a bath in the lake and I realize you're not  from around here. So after you were done with your bath I was going to come up to you," she explained.

"Stay out of my forest!" I smeared "Get out of here now!"

she began to run back towards the river. I took a deep breath, and went back to my stump the sun would be setting soon and I need to get food.

Later that night I was sleeping at the foot of my stump like I always do, but inside my dreams a storm was raging. I saw myself in so much pain, trapped by chains, while I was in flames. I saw people fighting each other blood running down their faces, and me not being able to help. I also saw a man with such compassion. It was freezing and my body was also shivering next to my stump. I thought for sure, I would have died there from the cold but the next morning I woke up. There was a red blanket on top of me. Also next to me was folded up blue jeans and a black hoodie. I smelled the blanket and it had the same scent as the girl from yesterday. I was angry that she came back but I was thankful that she did or I would have died from the cold. I put on the hoodie and jeans even though it took me a little bit to figure out how they worked. That's when I saw her again staring from behind the same tree our eyes meeting again.

She waved at me from behind the tree and then proceeded to shout out.

"Hey is it alright if I come into the clearing," she shouted.

I thought to myself. "I shouldn't let her in, but she did kind of just save my life." So I waved her on in.

she walked up to me, and said. "hello again. how are you feeling after such a cold night. I'm glad I thought about you, or you could have frozen to death without that blanket."

"Thank you for that. I would not be alive if it wasn't for you at that moment," I perceived. "How can I make it up to you."

"If you tell me your name, and we can be friends. I will call us even," she offered.

"Okay these terms are agreeable," I agreed. "I guess I am Hunter. What is your name?"

"My name is Cara. It's nice to meet you hunter," she assured.

That's where my life took a turn. For weeks on she came to visit me. We shared stories, played games, and had a lot of fun. The days used to creep by, but now they flew by. Even Tryn, and Kiera did not mind the change too much, and life just kept on going. In my spare time when she wasn't around I would hunt down, and kill the monsters of the forest to make sure she has safe passage to my forest clearing. I didn't have to hunt animals anymore for food because She brought me all the food I needed. I showed her around the entire forest. Telling her the names I gave to places. She told me about her town, and a place that she referred to a school. I showed her things in the night sky, and she taught me some history and math.

Then I told her my secret. I told her everything. I told her about the monsters, I told her about my inner power and and I even told her how I got here in the first place. At first she didn't understand but eventually she accepted and actually thought it was pretty cool. This made me think she was a wonderful person and everyday was more beautiful than the last. Even my out look on the forest got better. The forest was calm and protected. Even the first day arrived it wasn't like that. It was perfect... It was Paradise... and it was love... or at least it would have been...

But one day we're walking back to my stump.

"Hey I'll race you back to the stump, but you have to run like a human being So no cheating with your flash pulse alright," Cara challenged.

"Okay you're on!" I shouted and took off for the stump.

We ran through the forest as fast as our legs could carry us. The wind blowing through our hair with the sun on our faces. I ran through the clearing, and touched the stump first with Cara right on my tail. Then something happened that I did not expect. The sunset completely, and the moon rose. We heard howling from something circling the Forest Clearing. Without warning a werewolf broke the boundaries of the clearing.

I screamed out. "Cara stay behind me!"

I charged at the werewolf with all my might, but he hit me aside with little effort. Throwing me into the trees lining the clearing. The werewolf got closer to Cara, but then I did the only thing I could do to save her. I awakened my inner strength. This was the first time I ever used it in front of Cara. My eyes began to glow, my hands and feet change to claws, and I was enraged. I flash pulse to the spot in between the werewolf and Cara. I hit the werewolf  as hard as I could with my claws but it didn't effect it at all. so I kept striking the werewolf but it shrug them off like they were nothing. It started fighting back but I was too quick and nimble for it to hit me again. The fight could be heard throughout all of the forest. Halfway through I was on my last leg and there was no possible way I could win, so I called upon even more Inner Strength. At this point my quickness was slowed and I started taking quite a lot of hits. I could feel myself slipping away. I grew a tail, and ears right before it took over completely and then everything went black.

Here I was again in a strange place. This time standing up on the water. Looking up to see a beautiful blue moon above me.

Before long I heard Tryn begin to speak. "You Idiot! You overdid it. You need to learn control."

"He did what he could but it wasn't enough," Kiera responded.

"You're weak! How are you going to protect her in such a sorry state," Tryn interjected.

I ignored them both. Staring up at the Moon inside my mind. I thought of everything that happened to my life. All of the monsters that I killed to keep the forest safe appeared, and were standing around me. I looked around to see all of their dead faces. I began to scream up to the Moon of my mind. Tears came from my eyes as I let out a howl that could be heard all throughout time and space. My howl shook the water and split the Moon. Destroying this place from the inside out. The darkness returned.

When I finally came to, I was still in the clearing. I stood up and dusted myself off. My entire body was in pain, but I was surprised I was not dead. I looked around for a couple moments, and notice that there was a werewolf corpse laying there but I could not find Cara. I followed her Scent and I found her outside the clearing scratched, cut and face first in the dirt. She was clearly dead. So I ran as fast and far as I could. Which led to me destroying a lot of the trees of the Forest in pure rage. That is when, I saw a silhouette among the trees. I ran at it. I was going to murder whatever got in my way, but the Silhouettes grabbed me. The Silhouettes hit me in the back of the neck knocking me out.
They were taking me somewhere, but I do not know where. This was the first time since my parents drop me off at the forest that I actually got to leave it.
No more hunting...
No more monsters...
No more pain...
I was finally free.

I was taken to some facility where I awoke in Chains, and I had people staring at me through glass windows. The entire room was white tile, and smelled like cleaning chemicals. I resign there for many weeks. People came in occasionally to give me food, and water. The first couple days I didn't want any of it, but after awhile I realized if I was going to survive I would need to eat and drink. Instead of talking to anyone at the facility I just growled at them. This kept most people out of my room, but one guy came and always sat in the corner of the room. He reek of the smell of different type bones rotting. I thought he just wanted to add me to his collection, but everyday he came and sat. He would always talk to me even though I would never answer. He would ask me how it was going, and he would always tell me stories. Eventually I took a liking to this character.

One day when he was talking to me he said the weirdest thing. "Tell me your name and we can be friends."

I looked up at him. He walked over and removed my chains.

"I guess I am Hunter. What is your name?" I said.

"My name is Aiden, it's nice to meet you," he responded.

From that day forward I joined an organization called The Order Of Secrets. I joined Aiden's company of acolytes called Backbreaker and when on missions to fight the monsters of the world and to keep it safe from the things that lurk in the dark. I learned how to control my power with a lot of training. Eventually I made peace with the death of Cara, and I figured out there were others like me. Other wolf shamans. Now that I'm free it's time to enjoy freedom.
