Blackwood

There I was on the ground... The cold, and lifeless dirt beneath me... For I knew I was one of the only survivors of this failed assault, but still I carried on. I had enough strength to push myself to my knees. I knew it would be hard to continue this perilous journey. From there I looked around, and surveyed the land, but for what I found, I could not believe my eyes. The town was struck silent. A layer of dark black sooty smoke hovered finely over the ground, as all I could make out was ravaged corpses of people I once knew lining the streets like leaves on a fall day. The sky was stained black with smoke that was rising off of the decimated buildings. Not even a single peep of sunlight could be seen for miles. I was confused... I didn't understand how this could happen... It was supposed to be just another basic mission... But hundreds maybe even thousands of Acolytes showed up just to die... I tried not to think about how many people died, but instead think about where my path would lead me next. I pushed myself to try to get back on my feet, but I just could not. The burden was too much, and I fell back to my knees.

From there I looked up again to see a dark shadowy blur crash into the ground like a meteorite. Dust, and debris filled the air, but quickly cleared as I saw a man with black wings standing where the blur had landed. He was slender, and tall with flawless silky dark black hair that reach down his body. He was wearing some sort of dark robe that was dirty, ripped, and torn. He looked up with his dark ruby like eyes, and smiled. Then he told me with a grin on his face.

“It looks like you have finally ran out of luck.”

I moved my gaze down to look at the ground, and then looked back up at him again, and did not say a word. This man did not look familiar to me I could only speculate who he was. He walked closer, and spoke again.

“You really have had a nice run haven't you. It is too bad that it has to end here.”

He raised his hand to the sky. All of a sudden a bright light flashed in his hand as there appeared a pitch black demonic looking blade. My thoughts were racing as He got even closer.

“I can't die to day,” I thought to myself. “The order still needs me to continue fighting.”

He put his sword above me, and yelled. “It is time now!”

I sighed, and said under my breath. “I can’t let it end here.”

He swung his blade down, and at the last possible moment I moved out of the way of his blade. He missed... While most of me. He gave me a very deep cut over my right eye. Blood flew everywhere, and the pain was like nothing I've ever felt before. It was like every part of my body was screaming as a burning sensation travel through my veins torching everything that got in its way.

"I'm not going to die. I'm not going to give up," I thought loudly.

I was bleeding from the eye, and had no more energy to fight back. The man with black wings was hovering over me. He began to speak aloud.

“I've been hunting you for a long time Eve, and now that I had time to think about it. I think killing you would make things around here boring. I would not want that, so I’m giving you some more time to live. Others will not be as kind!”

He paused, waited for a few seconds, and said.

"But here's the catch. I'm going to erase your memory, and you will not remember any of the things that happened. You will have to recall all of your training that you have been through to get to this moment.”

Before I could even voice my opinion the man with black wings kneeled down, and put his hand upon my head. I was absolutely powerless to stop him. A bright blinding light flashed in my eyes. Then He stood up and told me.

"If you want your memories back you better come find me, and by the way my name is Ambriel.”

With that Ambriel flew off into the burning black sky as I passed out into darkness.

When I finally came to a couple hours later I was face down in the dirt again. As I got up to a seated position I tried to recall anything, I could.

“Ambriel?” I said quietly to myself. All I could remember was a bright flash of light, and Ambriel's back as he flew away after he said.

"If you want your memories back you better come find me."

“How was it possible for him to take my memories,” I thought confusedly.

I could still feel his ice cold touch of his hand on my face. I was able to sit up, but there was still so much pain in my body. It seems whatever happened before Ambriel wipe my memory left me in quite a state of disarray. My right eye was covered in dry blood, and I could not see out of it. I looked down at my body through my white sleek hair to see that I was wearing silver plate armor much like knights used to wear in the old days. I could not recall why I was wearing such a thing, and I was starting to think I would need to find someone to help me. I looked around with my one good eye, and I noticed that I was in some sort of park. That's when I first noticed all the destruction. The buildings in ruins, the blackened sky, and the human bodies strewn everywhere.

I wanted to scream, but did not have the muscle strength too. Instead I tried working through the pain to get to my feet. I stood up, well barely, and limped all the way over to a fountain that was in middle of the park. I looked into the water of the fountain, and saw my own reflection. I could see my celeste blue eye looking back at me in the water, it staring into each part of my soul. I took a deep breath, and turned around then sat on the side of the fountain. I sat there for a while thinking about what to do next while examining what looked like this downtown area. I could see that most bodies were wearing gold colored armor. I saw guns, swords, and other weapons scattered everywhere. So I wondered how these people died, and why were they fighting if at all. I was sitting there for a while pondering the world that I have found myself in. Out of nowhere my ears were struck by the sound of footsteps. I quickly turn my head to see the source of the footsteps. I saw three guys entered the park simultaneously through the North gate. One was dressed in full plate armor made of bones from various animal, and humans, and the other two were wearing golden robes with their hoods up just like the dead bodies on the ground.

On closer examination I noticed they were also covered in blood from head to toe. Were they the ones who killed all these people... Was I going to die like all the rest of them... I quickly pulled myself together, and ducked behind the fountain. This was not good I needed to move, or the people coming were going to see me. Pushing myself again to get the strength to move. I was pushing myself so hard that I did not even notice my hand starting to glow. Suddenly My body started feeling better, and my strength started to return to me.

“Why do I suddenly feel better,” I whispered to myself.

It did not matter, I needed to move. I watched them carefully as they all started kneeling down so they could look through the bodies. I was wondering if I could sneak out of there unnoticed, but as that thought passed through my mind the guy in the bone plate armor stood up, and said.

“Law! Order! Do you sense that.”

"Shit!" I thought to myself. "It's only a matter of time before they find me."

I started off in a dead sprint for the south exit of the park. The guys proceeded to follow me by jumping over the fountain in perfect unison. I ran across a street that was right outside the park with those guys still hot on my trail.

Once across the street I ran into one of the many abandoned buildings to try and lose them. The building smelled like burning wood, and had a think layer of smoke, but I quickly found the back exit so it did not matter for long. I kicked in the door, and ran out into what looked like a courtyard that was surrounded on all sides by buildings. The courtyard was freezing cold. I noticed there was a person dressed in a long black dark robe with their hood up was sitting in the middle of the courtyard meditating. I could hear him saying something quietly to them self it sounded like.

“Barafu… Barafu… Barafu...”

I started taking a few steps back, but then the guy in the bone plate armor grab my shoulder. He started to speak in a deep voice.

“Don't worry Eve, I got this one. Law, and Order keep her safe while I handle this.”

He walked up to the guy in the black robe, and there was silence.

“My name is Samarium, and who do I have the pleasure of fighting today,” The black robed person hissed as he stood up.

“My name is Aiden, and I'm sorry, I have to add your bones to my collection,” The bone plated man retorted.

Aiden then took off into a blur. I never seen anyone in my life move that quickly, it was inhuman. Aiden reappeared behind Samarium with a bone sword.

“A bone sword how did he get that!” I remember thinking to myself.

That's when I noticed that a piece of his bone armor was missing. Aiden swung his blade hitting Samarium in the rib cage. I surely thought it was over, but Aiden's bone sword broke into a million pieces.

“Is that all you got,” Samarium Mocked.

Suddenly without warning black ice shards popped out of the ground underneath Aiden’s feet. Aiden jumped back quickly to the middle of the courtyard.

“You're good,” Aiden proclaimed. “This should be fun.”

Aiden took a strong fighting stance. Samarium threw his robes to the ground to show what looked like black ice plate armor. Things went quiet again as both warriors ready their first attacks. Aiden move first again running forward while sticking his hand out toward the broken bone sword. Samarium jumped into the air and started raining down black ice shards. Through a series of flips in maneuvers Aiden managed to dodge all the incoming shards and reach his broken bone sword. Aiden waved his hand over the blade fixing it right before my eyes just before Samarium landed back on the ground facing the wrong way.

Samarium turned around slowly then paused for a moment. He looked to Aiden then stomped once hard on the ground. Everybody waited patiently to see what would happen, and that's when 3 black ice golems popped out of the ground. They began to rush Aiden at a great speed, but Aiden stood his ground. When the first one arrived he swung his blade clean through that ice golem with little effort. The other two golems ran side by side toward Aiden. This set him up perfectly. He threw his blade into the air, and ran at them. Right before he was in range, bone daggers landed in both his hands, and he through the daggers through the golems chest killing them instantly by shattering their bodies.

All that was left was Samarium. Aiden was still running at full speed as he snapped his fingers loudly. This seemed to create a bone spear that shot out of the ground spearing Samarium through the chest. Samarium's flew through the air from all the extra momentum, and hit the ground with a thud. This was the most horrible thing I've ever seen. His black ice broke like a toothpick, and his blood sprayed so far it landed on the wall of the courtyard. Aiden walked up to the body of Samarium. Things grew quiet again as Aiden cast his hand over Samarium's body. In that moment everyone of his bones ripped out of his flesh, and joined with Aiden's plate armor. Aiden started walking back towards me, and claimed under his breath.

“and that is how you do it.”

Aiden snapped his fingers again making all the bones he used in that fight to come back to his armor. Aiden walked up to me.

“It's good to see you again Eve,” he said to me.

“Why are you calling me Eve?” I replied. "Who is Eve?"

“What do you mean? Your name is Eve... How could you forget what your name is?” Aiden asked.

“I don’t know! I think it has something to do with some guy I met who had black wings, and that's name was Ambriel.” I answered.

"Black wings!" Aiden exclaimed. "That sounds a lot like a fallen angel!"

Aiden turned to Law, and Order. “Law! Order! Go meet up with Saphira’s company at the rendezvous point. While I'll tell Eve what's going on here.”

Like that Law, and Order disappeared like a puff of smoke. Aiden turned back to me, and started explaining everything he knew. He started off by telling me that my name was Eve, and that he, and I were commanders for a secret society known as The Order Of The Secrets. Aiden explained that The Order was trying to keep the world safe from dark magical users, monsters, and aliens.

He also explain to me that mostly all the people in the order have their own magick. The magick he used was called bonemancy, it allowed him to control bones, and to change bone’s shape into whatever he wanted.

At that moment I asked. “Does that mean I have a magical power?”

He responded. “Of course! You have the magick called Lightmancy it is a very rare type of Mancy. I almost forgot to mention there are three types of magick, Mancy that allows you to control things, Shamanism that gives you a deep connection to whatever you're the shaman of, and Clair that allows you to sense things around you.”

Aiden also told me this was the town of Blackwood, which was a town that was reported a couple days prior to have a strong magical presents, and The Order was called to check the location. We sent in some of the company called Nightfire. Their last transmission told us that they needed immediate Evac, and that this has become an A Class operation. So Aiden's company Backbreaker, our friend Saphira’s company Dragon's Blood, and my company heaven's wrath all landed on the three corners of blackwood to find the source of the high magickal power We were sent into find out the source of the magical power, but so far we had been met with heavy resistance. Sightings of The Orders most wanted had been seen in Blackwood, and Heaven's wrath company was completely destroyed upon the first assault, and never made it to the rendezvous point. The Order had surrounded the entire town of Blackwood to keep in all of the fighting, and to keep the public from knowing what's going on. Besides from most wanted there was also a Werewolf pack to the north of the town in the woods that call themselves Spirit Stalkers, and there also a Vampire clan called Immortal Raiders that we do not know a lot about.

"So you should probably keep your head down. By the way in case you forgot it's the year 2015.” Aiden explained.

As Aiden started telling me more about this world I just woke up in. I started feeling like some of my memories were coming back. Suddenly 3 dark shadow figures showed up on one of the buildings overlooking the courtyard. Aiden looked up at them and said to me.

“We got to go!” Aiden and I ran for the door of the abandoned building we came through to get to the courtyard. The burning wood smell was still permeating the abandoned building.

Aiden yelled. “We have to leave this building right now!”

We both burst through the front door as quickly as we burst through the back door. We made it to the street when the abandoned building exploded into a hellish firestorm. Aiden told me to follow him to Saphira’s company at the rendezvous point, and that we would have to move quickly.

After running for what felt like an hour Aiden, and I finally reached our destination. The rendezvous spot was a good sized camp of tents with a 8 foot wooden wall as the perimeter. Aiden stopped, and turned to me.

“When we go into camp, and we meet a woman named Saphira, let me do all the talking.” Aiden remarked.

“Who is Saphira,” I questioned.

“Well… She’s kind of your girlfriend.” Aiden replied as he started turning back around to walk onwards.

"Girlfriend!" I said puzzled.

“Saphira is going to be pretty pissed off that you lost your memories, and got that nasty ass cut over your eye,” Aiden exchanged. "She will probably think it's all my fault."

Aiden, and I reached the gate of the camp, and a thundering voice came out of nowhere.

“Password!” The Voice demanded.

Aiden began to speak. “Just open up it's me Aiden!”

"I need the password!" The Voice demanded again.

"Clairs are the worst, shamans are the best, Mancers are the ones who put holes in your chest."  Aiden muttered embarrassingly.

"Why is the password that?" I asked.

"I swear Saphira set up that password. Trust me. The clairs love that password," Aiden replied.

There was silence then the huge wooden door creaked open. Aiden turned his head back to look at me and said.

“Remember to let me do the talking.”

Bright light overtook him as I was thrusted into a new world. Tents as far as the eye could see with people moving in and out of them like ants in an ant farm. Aiden, and I started walking toward the center of the camp. Pushing our way through the people littering the streets. We soon found ourselves in a large courtyard with a tent in the middle, but this tent seemed far different from the other ones. Two large stone dragons looked like they were guarding the tent with their tails by being wrapped around the tent.

“Aiden!” I cried. “Is this where Saphira is staying.”

Aiden shushed me, and began walking forward until he stood in middle of the two stone dragons. The Dragons began to move and got closer to Aiden. As my heart began to race I noticed that the dragons were trying to get his scent. Once they finished with him they looked at me.

Aiden declared aloud “Saphira! You don't need to check out your own friends. We're coming in now!”

The dragons went back into their original positions. I took a deep breath, and started following Aiden into the tent. There was smoke everywhere like as if someone used a thousand smoke machines in the tent. What I could see through the smoke was a red velvet carpet stretched all the way to the back of the room, where there was a big red bean bag chair, another two dragon statues, and two big fire cauldron lighting up smoke. Aiden told me to stop moving, and that he would call me when he needed me. At that moment I noticed there was a blood red haired woman sitting in the bean bag chair with her head down. She was wearing dark green hide that looked like it came from a dragon, and she had shoulder size dragon skull as shoulder plates. Aiden started walking down the large red carpet towards the woman. All I could do was watch him walk to her slowly step after step. Aiden stopped 10 feet in front of her.

“Is that Eve,” The woman said silently. “I've been searching for her since we landed in Blackwood, and I couldn't finder.”

“Yes... Eve is back... I found her while I was out on patrol,” Aiden answered.

Like a flash the woman was gone it took me a few seconds to notice that she was already embracing me in a warm hug. Tears came streaming down her face.

”I thought I lost you,” she cried.

“Saphira we need to talk somebody... wiped Eve's memories... and I think it may have been a fallen angel.” Aiden said hesitantly.

In another flash Saphira was gone but this time she was replaced by half dragon hybrid with her tail around Aiden's neck.

“What!” Saphira screamed looking at Aiden for answers while strangling him.

“What are you?” I shrieked cowering in fear of what I just witnessed.

“Look you're scaring her,” Aiden joked sarcastically.

“Shut up you!” Saphira shouted as she shoved him to the ground with her tail. Saphira changed back to her normal form, and began walking towards me slowly. “I'm sorry Eve! Let me explain,” Saphira apologized.

“If Aiden has clued you in on anything he should have probably told you about the three types of magicks. I am a shaman... a dragon shaman. Not only do I have a strong connection with Dragons but I can also change into a dragon, and summon dragons out of thin air. I didn't know you lost your memories, and I'm sorry for scaring you.”Saphira explained.

“Please! She is never sorry Eve, you better get used to being scared.”Aiden interjected jokingly.

Saphira turn to Aiden who was still on the ground, and hissed.

“Shut up!”

With almost her entire head in dragon form. Saphira transformed back to normal, and faced me.

"So Eve what did the fallen angel look like that took your memories, and is he the one that gave you the scar over your eye," Saphira questioned.

"He had black long hair, big black wings, and he said his name was Ambriel. As for the scar I can't remember how I got it," I answered.

"Ambriel! Shit! He is one of the fallen angel that hunt down bounties on mortals. I would not be surprised if he was watching us right now. We have to get done with our mission, and leave this place. Let's find the source of this powerful magick, and get out of here." She explained.

"Easier said than done!" Aiden said from the ground.

All of a sudden Law, and Order came in the tent, their hood still covering their faces.

“Aiden! We found him!” They reported in unison.

Aiden blurred over to Law, and Order “Take me to him!” he commanded.

Law and Order touched hands, and they were gone.

“Shit! We have to go after them,” Saphira exclaimed.

"Why?" I asked her.

“Aiden found Damian again!” Saphira yelled back to me. "Get on my back we need to find them now!”

I got on her back as she transformed into a beautiful red scarlet dragon, and ripped through the ceiling of her tent. She must had a wingspan of 32 feet in her full dragon form. I had a feeling everyone in camp could see her.

“Are you alright you're not too freaked out,” said a voice in my head.

“What?” I replied back.

The Voice started talking again. “It’s me Saphira! I'm talking to you telepathically. I'll do this whenever I am in dragon form. Now hold on tight!”

With that both of her wings flap down wards, and huge gust of wind blew us in to the air. We started flying south to find Law, Order, and Aiden before they could find Damian. Saphira, and I flew over the town at a high speed, and All the buildings went past us so fast I could barely make them out. Saphira's body casted a shadow over each part of land that we came too. I thought to myself about what Damian would have done to piss off Aiden so much to make him want to seek him out. I got weird Goose Bumps just thinking about it, but then Saphira asked with telepathy.

"Are you okay."

"What do you mean." I said back.

"We will soon be going into a Battle. Where Bloodshed, and death are the only thing on people's minds. You can't even defend yourself from these enemies without knowing how to use your power. So I need you to stay close by me so I can defend you," Saphira reasoned.

"I'll stay close to you, I promise," I assured her.

"Thank you." she replied back. “oh, and keep your eyes open for Aiden. We need to find him before he...”

Saphira stop talking as she began to hover in middle of the air.

“What is the matter,” I asked.

“I think I found him,”she said back.

I tried to lean to the right to get a better view of whatever Saphira was seeing. I looked ahead in the distance to see Law, Order, and Aiden charging 4 enemies.

''Law, Order, and Aiden can handle themselves in that fight. We need to keep a lookout for Damian, and make sure Aiden, and them don't meet up with him. It also seems like these guys were looking for something here. There's a lot of digging equipment around. So maybe we should check that out." Saphira explained.

The second the 4 enemies, and Law, Order, and Aiden clashed there was chaos. Aiden made long sharp rib bones push out of the ground at his opponents, but to no prevail. It seemed that these guys were also mancers, and threw back fire balls, and stones, but Aiden was ready. He morphed his shoulder plates into 2 swords, and through one to Law, and the other to Order. Law, and Order started jumping rib bone to rib bone attacking the enemies from a bunch of different angles. The enemies blocked with stone walls they could shoot from the ground blocking incoming sword strikes from all over. Throwing back fire balls when it was appropriate. Trying to outmaneuver Law, Order, and Aiden, but eventually blood begin to fly. As a couple of their swords strikes hit their mark, and drew blood into the air. Both sides were giving all they could, but Aiden side gave more. One of the pyromancer's got cut very deeply. So Aiden took this opportunity, and shot a chunk of the pyromancer's arm bone out of his body like a bullet hitting one of the terramancers in the head, popping it like a balloon filled with confetti. While skull shards flew everywhere Aiden morphed one shard of skull into a bone dagger which he threw at the pyromance hitting him in the heart. The last two tried to fight back but nothing would stop Aiden, from getting what he wanted. Saphira landed, and transformed back into a normal form, but what came next I was never prepared to see.

Dust littered the air giving us very little visibility, but we could still hear the screams, and the howls of the of the 4 enemy mancers dying. Suddenly one of the enemy mancers ran out of the Dust, and began to grovel at my feet. He began to cry out.

"Help me! please! I don't want to...

At that moment a bone sword flew out of the dust, and hit him in back of the head killing him instantly. We started walking past him through a forest of rib bones trees... We soon saw a silhouette in the brown dust. The silhouette had its arms stretched out, and it was holding a person by its neck.

“Where is Damien!” The silhouette asked angrily. The person could not answer before the silhouette grip crushed his neck like a grape. Blood flew from the dust splattering itself upon my face. I cried out.

 “Aiden stop this!”

Saphira took out her wings, and blew a powerful gust of air to blow away the dust.

Once the dust cleared we saw Aiden, Law, and Order all covered in fresh blood. They were staring at a spiky brown haired man with a black short sleeve hoodie, tribal tattoos on both arms, and ripped jeans.

”Damian,” Saphira said softly.

We were just close enough that we could hear Damian speak.

“I see you're still dragging around those two deadbeats,” Damian joked. "Poor Aiden why won't you let go of the past."

Aiden did not respond.

“All this wonderful bloodshed, and you aren't even going to say anything,” Damian mocked .

“Law! order!” Aiden shouted. “Unrobe!”

Law ,and Order threw off their robes, and I was astounded to see that Law, and Order were skeletons with weird symbols carved into them. Aiden began to talk again.

“These are the bones of my brothers that you killed, and now they will kill you!”

Law'skeleton, and Order's skeleton transformed into bone swords but these swords were different. They had a very bright aura of light around them. Aiden took both swords in his hands, and a single tear came down his face as he charged to fight Damien head on.

Aiden was coming up fast on Damian with both swords out to a side, but halfway to Damian Aiden brought together the swords, and then something happened, I never expected. Aiden teleported right behind Damian. Aiden had the upper hand. Damian was still turning around to see what was happening, and Aiden swung his swords. This probably would have worked on any other opponent, but not Damian. When the blades hit him in the back they cut into his flesh, but were blocked by Damian's blood.

"WHAT!" I proclaimed. "How did he manage to block that."

"Well you see he is a bloodmancer, and one of their abilities allows them to harden their blood as sharp, and hard as steel," Saphira answered.

Damian shot blood needles out of the two cut marks on his back. Most of these blood needles lodged themselves in a Aiden's armor as he jump back. Aiden touched the swords together again. This time teleporting himself in front of Damian. Aiden swung his blades up hitting Damian, and throwing him in the air. Aiden jumped after him, and readied himself for another attack, but Damian recovered in the air creating two big long blood streams out of the wounds on his back that looked like spider legs. Damien thrusted the bloodstreams growing out of his back straight down at Aiden, but again he tap the swords together teleporting  him above Damian. Aiden then proceeded to kick Damien square in the face. Hitting him with such strength that he crashed into the ground making dust, and debris fly everywhere. Aiden landed back to earth to admire what he did.

"I've been waiting a long time for this. You're going to pay with your life for what you did back then. This is the day I will get vengeance for my family, and for my brothers." Aiden monologued as the dust, and debris cleared.

I got another glimpse of Damian who was now quite beaten, and bloodied, but still calm and collected.

"Aiden... Aiden... Aiden... is that all you really have. All this time, and you can't learn some new tricks. Oh, and look you messed up my hoodie," Damien complained. "I'll guess I'll have to teach you another lesson!"

In that moment blood overtook his entire body, and Damian was transformed into a crimson fiend that was completely made of crystallized blood that shine like diamonds in the sun light. He was ready to go on the offensive. He already had his fist elbow deep in Aiden's gut blowing away his bone armor completely, and pushing him back 30 feet. He tumbled against the ground like a rag doll. Aiden landed on his back bloody, and beaten.

"All that!" I thought. "From one punch!"

I could see Damien charging for Aiden. Aiden started to control the bones of his armor that was now scattered all over the battlefield, and threw them at Damien as hard as he could. The bones broke off chunks of blood, but it did not slow him down. Damien made it to Aiden, and then proceeded to put one foot on Aiden's chest crushing his rib cage. I heard Aiden scream out in pain. The sound scared me for I thought he was the strongest warrior up till now.

"Poor... Poor... Aiden," Damien mocked again. "It seems you're going to be joining your brothers shortly. So feel free to say hi for me."

Aiden's swords were still in his hands he tried to tap them together, but once he lifted both hands off the ground Damien shot two blood needles out of his hand hitting Aiden in the center of his palms nailing him to the ground. Damian was looking down at Aiden, but then without warning Saphira in full dragon form had her mouth around Damien. Saphira bit down hard, and threw him across the valley.

I ran over to Aiden, and kneeled down to him. Saphira transformed back, and turned around to face Aiden.

"Are you okay," Saphira, and I said worriedly.

"Yeah never better," Aiden answered sarcastically.

"If he is joking like that then he is definitely fine," Saphira pointed out. "I'll try to deal with this. Eve stay with Aiden."

"No! This is not your fight Saphira. This is my kill," Aiden impeded.

"Right now you're still nailed to the ground, and out of energy. I guess that makes this my fight." Saphira spoke back.

"Just try not to get killed before I get back into the fight," Aiden pleaded.

"Will do," Saphira assured.

Damien got up again after being smashed in the ground, and started walking towards us.

"Well if it isn't Saphira, and Eve. Is this the Academy reunion? Not only have I ran into you three, and those two dead brothers of your friend over there this week, but I also ran into those one guys from Nightfire company. It's almost like fate is bringing us all back together, but enough about me... Die!" Damien reasoned.

Then he came up to us so quickly that he kicked Saphira without her being able to block it. She flew through the air like a rocket, and I wasn't too sure where she landed. Now it was just me, and Damian. He Towered over me like a giant, and then began to speak.

"Eve... Why aren't you fighting me," Damien pleaded. "You're one of the strongest acolytes of The Order... oh well, prepare for a punch in the face. "

I was so frightened... I was still sitting on the ground helpless... and Aiden was incapacitated... Saphira would not be able to get here in time... He whined up, and he swung...
